TERMS & CONDITIONS

SERVICE AGREEMENT

These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and services. By accepting a quote, booking a service, paying a deposit, or allowing work to commence, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms operate alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits your legal rights.

1. SERVICES PROVIDED

We provide external property cleaning and maintenance services including but not limited to:

Solar panel cleaning
Solar pigeon proofing / mesh installation
Gutter cleaning
Window cleaning
Pressure & Soft washing

All services are subject to site inspection, safety assessment, and weather conditions.

2. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, including that services will be:

Provided with due care and skill
Fit for the agreed purpose
Completed within reasonable time (unless otherwise agreed)

If a major failure occurs, you may be entitled to a remedy including refunds, re-service, or compensation in accordance with law.

3. QUOTES & PRICING

Quotes are based on information available at the time. Pricing may change if site conditions differ from what was disclosed. Any price changes will be discussed before work continues.

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.

4. ACCESS & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide safe access to the property, secure pets and remove obstacles.

Disclose of any known roof damage, electrical faults, fragile surfaces, or leaks, ensure water and power access if required.

We may refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe.

5. PRE-EXISTNG DAMAGE & RISK DISCLOSURE

Existing cracked tiles breaking during movement
Pre-existing leaks becoming visible after cleaning
Oxidised paint reacting to pressure washing
Old silicone or seal failing
Pest contamination inside roof spaces
Solar panel micro cracks not visible before cleaning

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or faults.

6. WEATHER & RESCHEDULING

Rain, storms, extreme heat, unsafe roof or ladder conditions

We will reschedule at the next available time.

7. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment due on completion OR deposit required to secure booking

Late payments may incur an admin or recovery fee/costs where legally permitted.

8. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

Website / Standard Bookings:

24+ hours notice - no fee
Less than 24 hours - may incur call-out fee

Door Knock / Consumer Law Cooling Off: If booked via unsolicited door-to-door sales, statutory cooling-off periods apply where required by law.

9. PROPERTY DAMAGE

If we cause damage due to negligence:

Must be reported within 48 hours
We will inspect and rectify or compensate as required by law

We are not responsible for:

Hidden defects
Age-related deterioration
Poor prior workmanship
Damage caused by pests or vermin
Structural issues

10. PIGEON PROOFING - ADDITIONAL TERMS

Mesh systems reduce but do not guarantee elimination of pests.

We are not responsible for:

Pigeons nesting elsewhere on property
Noise or mess from surrounding properties
Entry points outside treated areas.

11. SOLAR CLEANING PERFORMANCE DISCLAIMER

Cleaning improves appearance and may improve efficiency but:

Output depends on weather, system health, and panel age.

12. SAFETY RIGHTS

We reserve the right to stop work if:

Roof pitch is unsafe
Tiles are brittle or unstable
Weather conditions change
Electrical risks are identified

Customer will not be charged for incomplete work caused by safety shutdown (except minimum call-out fee where disclosed)

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
Our liability is limited to re-performing the service or refunding the service value

Nothing in this clause excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

14. PHOTOS & DOCUMENTATION

We may take photos before, during, and after work for:

Quality control
Training
Insurance
